Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi introduces Sensory Nook for children with autism

Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi has launched its first Sensory Nook, a safe and calm space designed for children with autism.

Developed in partnership with the Zayed Higher Organization for People of Determination and Abu Dhabi Early Childhood Authority, the sensory unit is equipped with advanced technology, including LED colour spectrum lighting, UV lights, Bluetooth sounds and fiber optic tails to create a relaxing atmosphere. The Nook also features translucent curtains and a user-friendly application that can be tailored to the child’s preferences.

The facility, which is the first of its kind to be provided within a theme park in the region, aims to provide a safe and comfortable environment for children on the autism spectrum, supporting their treatment and rehabilitation. Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi is committed to ensuring that all guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience at the park. Parents or legal guardians can speak to Guest Services to access the Sensory Nook, which can accommodate one child at a time.
